A New Guide to City Hall

There are many questions that come with city hall and the Mayor of London, Boris Johnston. He was elected in 2008 and re-elected in 2012, he is an individual person who many people support and back, his main aim and goal is to improve the transport in London, he promotes cycling and a greener and healthier way to travel through the city, you will often catch the Mayor cycling though the streets of London.

City hall is made up of a Mayor, and 25 assembly members who have all been elected by the people of London and by listening to the people and their suggestions they work to make London a better city for all. The mayor of London alongside his members, he is responsible for making London a better and safer place for everyone, he listens to what the people want and needs and he works on making the appropriate changes to the city, he has the power to create plans and policies and put them forward. Boris Johnston was originally elected in 2008 and was re-elected in 2012, the word on the street is that his next move might be to become a minister within the houses of parliament, and from the amount of support and success he’s had over the years, it would not surprise anyone if he made it all the way.

Boris Johnston is a new guide to city hall, he has made the changes that he has deemed essential, he speaks and listens to the people, he’s not an uppity politician who avoids people and promotes one thing whilst doing the opposite, and this is why so many people trust him and support his working methods. And as he is in control of millions of pounds each year it is only right that he is trusted and supported by the people of London.

The money that he has access to goes towards supporting the rail networks, the travel links throughout the city, the emergency services, volunteering programmes, schooling, sports and so much more, then there is the cost of making changes and developing them. Over all city hall is the place where you can see the active changes happening for the benefit of Londoners, it is a place where pans are made and produced, and the needs of people are listened to and changes are put into practice. A lot happens in City hall, is it a positive thing for London and shouldn’t be seen in any other light, although, as with anything not everyone agrees and likes what Boris does, but the majority of people do appreciate the work and changes he has undertaken to make London a better place for residents, workers, tourist and children who are the future of the city.
